MacFarland Signs Me Off

Newer

Today I saw Mr MacFarland, my consultant at Addenbrooke's. This was an ususual event in itself as I've never seen him before, only one of his team. I did ask Beth (when we saw a photo of him in the paper some months ago) if she remembered him from when I was in hospital. She didn't.

It was an odd session. He never introduced himself. When he asked me questions I felt I was being interrogated. I got the distinct impression that he wasn't happy about the OZC referral, perhaps because he didn't initiate it directly.

Anyway he said that my MRI scan showed nothing new so they didn't need to see me again. He also said I should expect to be on Epilim for life.
