An Ex-Customer Calls

An old friend and ex-customer turned up today for lunch at very short notice. I think he'd intended us to go out for a beer but as I'd baked a loaf I tempted him with a cheese sandwich made with very fresh organic wholemeal and a cup of tea. It was good to see him and gossip about old times. He's doing dreadfully well for himself these days: nice car, nice suit, and he's the boss now. On the other hand he leaves the house every day at 5:30am for a sixty mile commute to work ... hmmmm, that bit's not so good.
Meanwhile out there on the Web today:
- Rachel's Sims character is making out with Frodo Baggins.
- A posting on cam.transport led me to discover this poster. The note says "A very controversial campaign, that caused a lot of debate - should such matters be aired in public?". Looking at it with today's eyes my question is: why are they blaming the woman for spreading VD rather than than the man?
- The stuff on YouTube continues to get weirder.
- Women I've never met have started asking my dimensions.
So, all pretty run of the mill really.
