A Surprise from Phoenix

A long letter arrived today from Phoenix. I opened it with some trepidation as I wasn't expecting good news. But I was wrong. They acknowledge they've got the calculation wrong and they've been underpaying me ... but by far more than I knew as it seems that they've been underpaying me for some years. read more ...

Another Cluster

I appear to be in the middle of another big cluster. It started about three and a half weeks ago now and in the last week I had migraines on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday I was fine and it looked like I might get away with Saturday too until I got a bad one which started after supper. That was most unusual, these days I normally wake up with one if I'm going to have one. read more ...

Phoenix Accept My Complaint ...

I've had a letter from Phoenix accepting my complaint and acknowledging it's taken a long time to sort this out (they're not kidding, it's now four months since I first wrote). Beyond that all it says is that the claims team are still looking at it and that I will hear from them soon. read more ...

Still nothing from Phoenix

I did phone them on 2nd October and they admitted they should have at least sent me a letter acknowledging receipt and saying they were looking into it. He told me the whole claim was being reviewed, whatever that means, but two weeks on still nothing so today, more than three months since I first wrote to them, I have invoked their formal complaints procedure with yet another letter.

No reply from Phoenix

Two months after I wrote to Phoenix and still no reply, not even an acknowledgement of my letter, so I've written to them again today enclosing a copy of my original letter.
