Radwinter to Thaxted loop - 11.4 miles

A walk across rolling Essex countryside from Radwinter to Thaxted and back. We did it for the first time in January 2008 and Paul wrote it up in his blog.
We were using a walk describe by Matthew Fry on his web site here so much kudos goes to him. He's also got some photos of the route, taken at a rather different time of year (just after harvest time). You can find the complete route described here using Google Maps and here's the GPX file (GPS Exchange Format, 4KB) for those with GPSs. |
