A Non-Rolling Stump ...

... gathers some moss at Milton Country Park. This was my first photo using back button autofocus (it's also retrospectively geotagged).

Dawn at the Park

I did take my GPS but haven't got round to geotagging this one but it's taken from the pontoon looking east over Dickerson's this morning.

Swans

I took the D5100 to Milton Country Park in the hope of repeating a photo I'd taken in the mist a couple of years ago with my phone. Failed to take that but did get this one instead.

Retrospective Geotagging

I've been playing with retrospectively geotagging photos today but I've already written about that here so here's a photo using it today. I put a GPS in my camera bag before I set out and then tagged the photo when I got back.

Jack

I was actually testing using my new camera case while walking Jack. Which sort of worked. But this came out OK (once I'd "shopped" out the lead). What a fine boy, looking worried as usual.

Yes, We Have Some Tomatoes

... and some other fruit and veg too. Some of the rather fine entries in the fruit and veg section of the Milton Produce Show today.

150mm @ 4m

I took this photo back in January with my little Samsung EX1 (more photos here) and I was scratching around looking for photos to enter in the photographic competition in today's Milton Produce Show in the category of "Yellow". I was surprised, given some rather fine competition, to win first prize!
