As you'll know if you subscribe to one of the lists we host on our server or you use the cam.* FAQ Wiki I ask people to help fund these facilities by buying items from Amazon through a hyperlink which makes us some commission - typically around 4% on every item you purchase via the link.
Some people kindly do and every so often Amazon bung us a few quid. It's not a lot. Typically around £50 a year (which is nowhere near what the server costs, never mind my time, but free money is always nice).
Anyway I mention all this because this month I got £28.23 from Amazon so I logged it to see what people had been buying. I can't see who is buying items but I can see what they're buying1 and as I looked down the list this item caught my eye.
Yes, that's right, it's Jackie - The Album.
For those of us of a certain generation "Jackie" was the magazine all the girls were reading. The same girls who fell for Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and, much to our annoyance, the appalling Bay City Rollers.
And they're all here on this three disk set.
