I dragged myself to the Wrestlers today and discovered I'm not the only one who's been suffering: H has had it too, only he had a soaring temperature with his too. I also bumped into one of the parish councillors while going for the paper and he's had it too. Two common attributes: we're all people who don't normally suffer badly from viruses, and we've all had middle phase where we appeared to be getting better but then got worse again.
Anyway I seem to be down to a phlegmy cough now so enough whining, time for some fun links.
First there's Not Hired who are a group of HR people who "see thousands of cover letters and resumes every month. Some of them desperately need to be shared" and this site lets them. I was originally taken there by this post - the scan of a letter to a failed applicant for a job at the BBC.
Then there's PhotoShop Disasters a blog highlighting appalling examples of bad work with PhotoShop in popular media like this one from the Daily Mail.
Now here's a weird thing: you can drive around Google Maps. The trick, I rapidly discovered, is to keep on finger pretty much permanently on Up and steer with Left and Right. It has no concept of one way streets. Pointless ... but strangely addictive.
Anyway, enough for now, time to take Jake for a walk. Later dude (as the young people say, allegedly).
