Search Me

Here's a little something to keep you amused. SearchMe is new search engine currently in public beta. It's a visual search engine. The down side is that it uses Flash so it's very disabled unfriendly and I bet it sucks on bandwidth. The up side is the way it presents search results, which is stunning.

Try it.

Try searching on "Paul Oldham" for example and see what you get. I'm prejudiced of course as I'm the top result and that upstart from the University of Lancaster is second (on Google he normally beats me) but isn't the way you can scroll through the pages just by clicking on the panes to the left and right of the front one.

There's also the business of "stacks" which I've not got my head around yet.
