The view from Ba Cottage.

Another short and gentle walk on the West Highland Way. From Black Rock Cottage I followed the Way south, climbed up to the Fleming monument/memorial and carried on south to the ruins of Ba Cottage for lunch.

I wonder who lived there? was it lived in all year or was it a shieling, and when did the last people leave, was it before or after the 'new road' was built? There's the remains of a wall around the cottage, did they have a garden... I looked for but couldn't find any graves nearby, are there any?
