Starting to Think About Money

Over the summer of 2002 I more or less stopped updating these pages. Things seemed to have stabilised. I was still having good days and bad and some situations, especially Sainsburys for some reason, made me feel mentally "uncomfortable" but when I went to see my GP in late September he said this was pretty much normal and things would continue to improve over time.

My GP also pointed out that I could probably claim on my Permanent Health Insurance. I'd assumed that, as I could do some work I wasn't "completely" unable to do my job, as per the insurance, so I couldn't claim. He suggested that I could and it seems he was right: they're certainly entertaining a claim anyway.

That also lead me to wonder if I was also entitled to anything from the Government. I'd assumed I would not be as Beth works but it turns out that I'm entitled to Incapacity Benefit. So I've got a claim under way for that too.
