I popped out for some milk on Sunday and found a small bunch of people applauding competitors in the Cambridge Boundary Run so I went back with my camera and took some photos.

Nothing to do with spring at all but I've been meaning to take a photo of this gravestone in the grounds on Milton Hall for ages and it worked well in black and white. It would have worked better with some side illumination to bring out the writing mind you. Another day.

The grounds on Milton Hall are carpeted with snowdrops and winter aconites. I was rather pleased with this photo of some aconites. Depth of field, bokeh, context: the whole works.

The grounds on Milton Hall are carpeted with snowdrops and winter aconites. Sadly the snowdrops are now a bit past their best but this was the first day the weather has been kind.
