Bit of a grey day today and poor light for photography but I want to sell this lens so it needed photographing so I could put it on eBay.

We had a wander around to Burghead today where it was a high spring tide combined with a big swell so waves were breaking over the harbour wall. You don't really get a sense of the scale of the thing but the wall the wave is breaking over is probably eight feet high on the land side.

Must admit the force wasn't strong in me this evening but Jack was dozing in the doorway to my study and the Helios was still on the camera from an abortive trip to take photos in the snow yesterday so ...

Last night we had the first proper snow since we've moved here. Luckily I'd topped up the bird feeder the night before.
