eBay Madness

It's a strange place eBay. I'm a fan of the Mapp & Lucia books by EF Benson and they were televised many years ago so when a DVD set of the first series came up on eBay I thought about bidding.

Now at that point the price was £10.50. Bidding closed at £26. Now compare this to the price on Amazon this week where it's available for £15.99. Didn't the winning bidder think of checking on Amazon first? They are wearing shades however, so perhaps that explains it?
