Man Flu

I've been struck down by some sort of virus today¹. I felt vaguely sub-par yesterday but I was then woken up in the wee small hours today with a sore throat (thank goodness I still had some Strepsils left from last time). Now I've also got a nose running like a tap, headache, and a wheezy cough.

At least I can be fairly sure it's not going to turn out to be influenza as I've been vaccinated against that as usual this winter but it's still annoying. Think it may be time for some more paracetamol and codeine and an early night shortly.

1. God, these blog postings are getting boring. Perhaps committing to blogging every day in 2011 wasn't such a smart idea after all.
