Been looking inward a bit too much in the Wiblog lately so here's a couple of things that have caught my eye. First Match it for Pratchett - Terry has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and has donated half a million pounds to Alzheimer's research. Now a campaign has started to match Terry's donation. Can you help?
And here's something else that's poignant, on Santa Monica beach every Sunday Veterans For Peace are creating the Arlington West memorial. Take a look their web site. They're a funny lot Americans: in a lot of ways I find them intensely annoying but sometimes they have the inspiration to undertake things which we would never have the vision to do here.
On a happier note I found the Arlington West site by chance via the Kite Aerial Photography group on Flickr where a member had uploaded an aerial photo of the memorial taken from a kite.
Talking of which we've got a Milton Country Park group on Flickr too now - so if you've got any photos and you've got a Flickr account then feel free to add them to the group.

We had a look at Match it for Pratchett the other day - and in the end decided to donate directly through the Alzheimers Research Trust website. MIFP wasn't mentioned on the Trust website, and we didn't see a way to Gift Aid the donation. |

Yup, that's what I did too. Sorry, should have been clearer. |
