HTC Do The Right Thing™

I wibbled last Thursday about the HTC Desire HD which I'd bought second hand on eBay only to discover that the volume down key was broken.

HTC customer support were amazingly helpful: although I'd not bought the phone new the 24 months' warranty was transferable and they were happy to repair it.

For free.

They said they would pick it up via UPS on Friday afternoon, which they did (actually the UPS man was early) and this lunchtime today, Wednesday, it's back and the volume button is fixed.

So end to end that's six calendar days or four working days.

I'm impressed.
