Grimsby

I'm now on Serenity having had supper at a Pizza Hut in town¹. The area around the docks here is horribly run down. There's a mass of Victorian buildings around the docks which are just falling to bits slowly. The town centre isn't much better with yoofs and/or drunks scattered about.

The marina is just of section of the old fish dock. There's a mass of unused water here which in the south or on the east coast would be full of yachts. It's a crying shame. Some regeneration money could make a real difference here.

Anyway the weather forecast is OK and we're off at 5am tomorrow morning for Bridlington. More from there.
