Summer's Over

I put on long trousers for the first time today. I was hoping to hold out until the end of BST but that's still three weeks away and walking across Parker's Piece yesterday it was more than a little parky in the wind.

I've been in shorts (except for the odd chilly evening of stargazing) pretty solidly since we went to BST so I don't think I've done too badly this year, despite the often dubious weather.

I'm not alone: H is wearing black socks¹ already, so it must be the winter.
