16/365 - A Salty Log

Migraine today so in the absence of work I wandered down onto the salt marshes with Jack and found this log.

12/365 - Snow

Last night we had the first proper snow since we've moved here. Luckily I'd topped up the bird feeder the night before.

11/365 - Stormy

It was a dark and stormy night day so we drove down to the car park by the river mouth and hid out of the wind behind Florence.

10/365 - At the Co-Op

The theme for the day was Dark so I took the α7II with me into town to the camera club and, more by accident than design, got this afterwards from the car park which is suitably arty.

9/365 - Pheasant

Beth spotted him on the ridge of our neighbour's roof so I quickly got the 135mm on and went outside. It took a while for him to get brave enough to get close but it was worth it in the end.

8/365 - Sunrise

Having been woken early by Jessie I took Jack for a walk before the sun came up and came back to this. Later in the day I discovered that "Sunrise" was the suggestion for photo of the day. Result.

7/365 - Sutors

A walk up a hill behind Nairn today lead us to this view of the Sutors gap into the Cromarty Firth showing the end of a cloud inversion within. Bits of Nairn are just visible this side of the Moray.
